"Took a bit, but the coverage details were clear"
I’d been looking around at pet insurance for my dog for a while, mostly comparing prices and trying to figure out what all the fine print actually meant. A lot of the sites started to blur together after a bit, and I’m not exactly someone who enjoys reading policy wording for fun.

With Fetch, I did have to slow down in a few places, especially around how certain treatments were described. Some of the language still felt a little insurance-y, and I found myself rereading a couple sections just to make sure I understood what they meant.

That said, the part I appreciated most was that they were upfront about what isn’t covered. Exclusions like pre-existing conditions and waiting periods weren’t buried too deep, which made the whole thing feel more transparent than some other pet insurance sites I checked. I’d give it 4 stars, mainly because I still think the examples could be simpler.

"Pretty good price for pet cover"
I looked around at a few pet insurance sites and Fetch ended up being one of the better deals for what it covered. The monthly premium didnt seem too wild, especially since my dog is still young. Signing up was simple enough, and I liked being able to tweak a few things so it stayed in my budget. So far, im happy with it.

It mostly does what it’s supposed to, but I still find myself double-checking things because the communication isn’t always clear. It’s not terrible, just a little annoying when you’re not totally sure what’s going on or what to expect.

I’ve found the app really easy to get around. I was able to pull up my pet’s info quickly, and uploading things from my phone didn’t give me any trouble. So far, I haven’t run into any weird glitches, and it’s been working well for me.

"Premium went up, but I’m still okay with it"
My premium went up recently, or maybe it was last renewal, I can’t remember exactly — but overall I’m still happy. I’ve had to file a claim, maybe two, and the process was easier than I expected. So even with the price increase, I haven’t felt like switching yet.

I had a question about my claim and sent a message not expecting a super quick reply, since I’ve dealt with other companies before where it takes days to hear back. They got back to me the same day, which was a nice surprise.
The answer was clear and the person I spoke with was friendly. It did take one follow-up to get everything fully sorted, but overall it was a good experience and much smoother than I expected.

My claim did end up getting approved, which was definitely a relief. The only thing is, it took longer than I thought it would and I had to keep checking in for updates myself. Not sure how to explain it, but the whole process just felt a little unclear at times. It wasn’t a bad experience overall, I just wish it had been a bit quicker and easier to follow.

My claim was denied at first, which threw me off a bit because I wasn’t totally sure what I’d missed or what had happened. I reached out to support and they walked me through the reason for the denial, and then helped me figure out how to dispute it. It did take a little time, so yeah, not instant, but it didn’t feel like I was just stuck on my own. In the end it was handled fairly, and I appreciated that. Thanks, Fetch.

I guess I just assumed the usual stuff would be covered, and that was my mental shortcut going in. Once I actually looked closer, it felt limited. Not terrible, but definitely a bit disappointing compared to what I had in mind.

I used the online portal to look up my policy info and send in what I needed, and it was actually straightforward. I was expecting it to be a bit of a hassle, but I didn’t really get stuck anywhere. I got the wellness coverage mostly for my dog’s routine stuff like shots, checkups, and basic preventive care. So far, it feels like a good value and it makes budgeting a little easier since the limits are straightforward. It’s not some super fancy add-on, and I’m sure it won’t cover every little thing, but for regular wellness needs it does the job.

"TERRIBLE COMPANY. This company is incompetent."

They won't approve anything and are terrible. Your denied claims DO NOT go towards your deductible. Something I wish they would have disclosed in the policy when signing up. My pet had a cough due to something completely different than what he is dealing with now, and they won't approve his claims of over $1500 because they think it's pre-existing. I even had my Vet write a letter claiming it was not pre-existing. Still won't approve. I then used their Rx platform to order my dogs antibiotics, I paid for next day shipping. Well it's been 6 days and my pets meds are still not here. When I asked about it, they said someone used a USPS label instead of the FedEx label they were supposed to use that I paid for. The rep said that it would be delivered today, but now it's saying tomorrow. What the heck. I HATE THIS COMPANY. I have never used such a sad excuse for a pet insurance company till Fetch. My pet is battling pneumonia and a collapsed lung and has been without his antibiotics for an ENTIRE WEEK. While the reps are competent and accommodating, the company they work for is such a scam. I am spreading this far and wide and plan to take this to social media to spread the word even further not to use this company.
